Taposhree Chaudhary from Maple Bear Kolkata shares, “We create an atmosphere that encourages social, cognitive and practical learning. Learning through play has been proven to have a tremendous impact on children in their early developmental stages, and this principle forms a keystone of our teaching methodology. We encourage learning through experience and exploration through dedicated learning centres in each one of our classrooms that provide for different needs and interests of children for each age group. These feature a variety of stimulating and enjoyable experiences where children are free to explore and experiment. The knowledge and skills that children acquire at our school along with positive attitudes to learning that they develop in these early years form effective learning in the later years of life. Our teachers and staff are trained to deliver the curriculum. We have partnered with Proeves to update parents on their children’s meals, classroom activities etc so that there is complete transparency especially with children in daycare.

Archana Tondon from Kinder Care tells, “At Kinder Care, we believe that holistic child care, especially in the early years, lays the foundation for a strong and confident individual. In the same light, all our teachers share a strong bond with the children, acknowledging the individuality of each one and not adopting a one size fits all approach to child care. Our child centric curriculum seeks to focus on six skills of inclusive learning, namely, cognitive, motor, language, physical, social and emotional. We strongly believe that a balanced curriculum of play and learn encourages children to develop a joy of discovery and a love for knowledge. Finally, we maintain that transparent communication between the parents and school authorities is vital for healthy child development. Therefore, we offer unrestricted access to all our parents to walk in at our centres at any given time and interact with the teachers and supporting staff to address any concern they may have –

Hetal Waghela from Nectar’s Cove shares, “Special attention and care are provided to meet each child at their current level and assist them in learning the skills needed to make the transition to kindergarten a positive experience. Curriculum wise preschool age will be the age where our littlest people really start to grow. Attention spans increase, numbers and letters become recognizable, and problems begin to be solved. It is important for children to get involved in fun learning activities as well as get them prepared for Primary school and making them Independent. Our goal for childcare is for parents to feel good about their childcare choice, and that the children are safe, engaged, educated, and smiling. Our belief is that every child is unique and our program works to promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child. We are completely transparent in our programs and curriculum, we continuously self-assess and look to improve, and we make communication with you a paramount part of the childcare environment so that parents trust on us increases.”

Nikita Tater from Youngin Internationalsays “The curriculum at Youngin follows the theory of Harvard Gardner. It focuses on eight intelligences senses of the child. The yearly assessment is also based on this theory. In a year there are four PTM conducted; which give a chance to the parent to closely discuss with teacher about the growth graph of the children and to do it better. The worksheets are designed by the academic team. We believe in transparency to parents, so we have facilitated them to view the happenings of the class through CCTV. We have CCTV screen at our reception area also for the parents to see what is happening inside the class.”
