The first few years of a child’s life are crucial for their overall development. Children need to socialize, collaborate and develop their emotional, cognitive, physical and speaking skills. This development must occur in an environment where the child feels loved and cared for. Ipsaa’s daycare program offers fun and excitement throughout the day which support their well rounded development. Children get to learn, participate in activities with time to relax and rest.
The aim of Daycare program is to provide a structure and routine for children keeping in mind the safety and growth of the child in a secure environment. Children spend on an average 8-10 hours each day, 5-6 days of the week. The program ensures that each child prospers physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially.
The Educational Program
Learning at an early age requires the presence of supportive adults not only to provide concrete assistance, but also to clarify for children their feelings and needs, and to guide children toward effective social interaction and behaviour. Even past the toddler years, young children do need some individual attention and enough adults have to be there to provide it. No two children will learn at the same speed nor be equally interested in the same activity. The activities include arts and crafts, cookery, creative and dramatic play, stories, music, puzzles, construction toys, and big and small indoor equipment which engage with all the senses.
