Maple Bear Canadian Pre-School opened its second pre-school in Porvorim. The centre caters to children in the age groups of 16 months to 3.5 years in the first year of its operation through its preschool (toddlers and nursery section) and day care centre. The school caters to older children up to 6 years in junior and senior kindergarten in the subsequent years.

Maple Bear’s Dona Paula centre has been running for over five years now. It has seven teachers, five support staff and over 80 children across toddlers, nursery, junior kindergarten and senior kindergarten divisions.

With significantly better infrastructure, Maple Bear has been able to differentiate itself from other schools in the area. Sitting in the centre head’s office, parents can view their children on CCTV going about their daily activities.
