“Mom …I am bored…” Isn’t that what you get to hear all day from your child during vacations? With temperature soaring, outdoor activities will be minimal & kids will be restricted to indoors making things only more difficult in coming months. Here are a few suggestions to keep your child engaged this summer.
1. DIY Ball Drop Game for Toddlers
Things required
- Chart Paper – 1 sheet
- Cello-tape, glue
- Stickers
- Plastic Balls
So the activity is simple, make a paper basket or a tunnel of sorts using chart paper, decorated it with some stickers and stick it at a convenient height for your chikd, possible on the side of a cupboard (You may stick it to a wall, door, shelf or whichever area suits you and your little one the best). Then place a tiny bucket full of plastic balls beside this setup. Once the setup is done, teach your child how to toss the balls through the paper tunnel from the top. They would be fascinated when the ball would come out from the bottom!
After a couple of demos, your little one will be at it by himself
