Tell us about the show – Gopal and the Divine Cowherd ?

Gopal and the divine cowherd is an enchanting interactive and musical play for children and adults. All ages would enjoy the show with its fascinating characters and poetic storyline. The show involves the audience into the storyline thus helping in instilling the values of fearlessness and love.
Another thing to look forward to is definitely it’s soundtrack! Foot tapping, meaningful and deeply enriching which will stay with the audience for a long time.

Talk us through the making of the show ? How long did it take for the team ? How many hours of practice ?

The Moglys Gurukul team started working on the script after the success of our first production Ah-Prahlad in April 2016. The script writing, recording and finalisation of screenplay was complete beginning of July and the rehearsals, costume designing and set designing has been in full swing since then.
Since we also have our ongoing value education contracts with various schools, wherein our teachers visit other schools and conduct value and cultural classes, our teachers have been putting in extra hours and working tirelessly for this show.

What would the kids love about the show ?

The kids would love the simplicity of language, the animal characters which are a part of the whole show, the dances and most of all the foot tapping songs.

This is the easiest way to educate our kids about Indian Mythology ? Do you agree ?

More than the easiest, this is the most enthralling and engaging way of teaching our children about Indian mythology.
Along with the Krishna Leela, the play deals with some extremely pertinent issues faced by our children these days like bullying and fear. The play will help children triumph their fears and learn the essence of friendliness, sharing and love.
