Diwali is not only a time for celebrations, but also for get-together, events & fun activities! It is known as the festival of lights and is celebrated across the country to applaud the success of good over evil.
The celebration of Diwali, ‘The festival of lights’ will came alive at Safari Kid on 3rd November, they had hosted an exciting Diwali bash for kids from 15 months to 5 years. The entire school was decorated traditionally & activity corners were set-up for kids. There was diya making – kids were given plain unpainted diyas & asked to paint them along with some other items like studs, stones ribbons, etc. The little chefs tried a hand at making yummy sweets for Diwali. And, of course there was a competition for the best dressed in traditional attire.
Mindseed had hosted a week long play-date which commenced on 29th October & ended with Diwali Activity and celebrations on 3rd November. It was India’s first festival for mothers and children between the ages of 18 – 30 months to celebrate together. Each day of the playdate had significance of Diwali along with fun – filled activities. As a part of the playdate activities like building blocks, play with colours, music & movement, jumping jack, story – telling session on the Ramayana happened. To end with grand celebration for Diwali happened across all Mindseed centres.
At, Ipsaa kids came dressed in traditional attire & learn the importance of eco-friendly Diwali. They had story-telling session on how Ram faced so many troubles when he goes to rescue his wife Sita kidnapped by Ravana. How the streets were decorated with flowers and lamps when Ram & Sita returned back home, & this is why every year on Diwali, the streets, homes and offices lit up with lamps, like the city of Ayodhya, in celebration of Ram and Sita’s homecoming.
Maple Bear celebrated Diwali at their centres across India. Kids came dressed in traditional wears and made flower rangoli & lantern. Maple Bear centre at Rajouri Garden is also conducting a Diwali camp on 6th November for kids from 2 years – 10 years which includes activities like Diya Painting, Crafting, Story-time & Dance.
On 2nd November, Mini Marvel started their day with Laxmi Pujan with cute little traditionally dressed kids. The kids then made greeting cards which had paper-cut diya on the front page. Being mindful of sweet allergies, they served simple boondi ladoo, malai peda, etc to kids as Diwali celebration are incomplete without sweets. The kids were then made to fill colors and flowers in pre-designed rangolis by the teachers.
